Various cultural activities form part of our school`s life.

• Learners participate in the annual Eistedfodd where musical skills, recital and visual art feature prominently. Learners who achieved significant results during Eistedfodd are the invited to participate during our culture evening closer to the end of the year.
• Simond also stages a bi-annual production and all learners are encouraged to participate. These events are always well received and supported by the community. Multiple sold-out evenings have become the norm.
• Praise and worship forms part of our school program and is a fixture between 13:00 – 14:00 on Thursdays.
• There is an Ascension day service every year and parents are welcome to attend.
• Music lessons are available. Tuition in piano, guitar and recorder is available.
• We are extremely proud of our Girl`s Chorus. Vocally inclined young ladies are welcome to audition.
• Cultural activities at Simond is an area of growth and debating now features as one of our co-curricular activities.
• We are proud to announce we are planning to start a Marimba band in the near future.
